Do my customers need to download an app?
No. They open your link in their browser and order. Nothing to install on either side.
What kinds of shops does Pasal work for?
Cafes, bakeries, grocers, boutiques, salons, electronics shops, anyone who sells a catalog and takes orders.
How do customers pay?
Customers pay you directly and the money never passes through Pasal, so there is no commission and nothing to withdraw. At checkout they can pay cash on pickup or delivery, or scan the eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay or bank QR you upload once in Settings and send back the transaction number. You check it against your own account and press Mark paid.
Is it really a 5-minute setup?
Yes. You name your shop, confirm with an emailed code, and it is live right away, no waiting and no setup call.
Can I take table or slot bookings?
Yes. Turn on Bookings in Settings and customers can reserve a date, time, and party size, which land on your Bookings tab.
Can I show orders on a TV like the big chains do?
Yes. Sign in on any TV with a browser and press TV display on the Orders tab: a live kitchen board for staff, or a collection screen of order codes for customers.
Do customers need an account for loyalty?
No. Points build on whatever they spend with you, matched by the phone number on the order, so a regular who never signs in still earns them. You redeem or give points from the Customers tab. If they do sign in, they see the same Apple Wallet and Google Wallet pass you dress under Design loyalty card, on their own page at your shop.
What does Pasal cost?
Every new shop opens on Pro free for 30 days, with no card. After that the shopfront, your link and QR, up to 20 products, unlimited orders, the order board, customers and billing stay free forever, and we never take a commission. Pro is NPR 2,000 a month or NPR 18,000 a year, and adds the counter, khata, tickets, bookings, loyalty, promo codes, the TV board, the job book, staff accounts, unlimited products and your own domain.
What happens after the free trial?
Your shop stays online and nothing is deleted. The Pro tools pause: the counter, khata, tickets, bookings, loyalty, promo codes, the TV board and the job book stop starting anything new. Finishing old work is never blocked, so khata payments still record, customers can still spend points they hold, tickets to a night already on sale still sell and still scan at the door, and a diary already open keeps taking appointments.
How do I pay for Pro in Nepal?
Locally, no international card needed. Message us on WhatsApp and we will turn Pro on for your shop; paying through eSewa inside the dashboard is built and switches on shortly.
